Arrive at IG International airport and transfer to your hotel to relax after a long plane journey. This afternoon we will visit a couple of off- route sites and also to familiarize yourself with the hustle and bustle of this ancient Capital.

We will visit some other places of interest during the orientation tour of Delhi.
 
Day 3 (Delhi/Lucknow)

Board morning flight to Lucknow, the capital city of Uttar Pradesh well known for its unique architecture, music, art and centre for Urdu poetry and courtly diction. An afternoon tour of the fabled wealth of Lucknow will be revealed to you; this evening you will enjoy the world famous Awadh cuisine.
 
Day 4 (Lucknow)

The teeming markets and lanes of Lucknow are famous for their crafts, embroidery work, perfume sellers, architecture and much more blended within the city itself. This evening enjoy more of the royal cuisine at one of the noble’s  home.
 
Day 5 (Lucknow/Allahabad)

The day starts with an exciting experience of Indian railway, the second largest employer in the world. We will catch the early morning train to Allahabad. The 5000 years place is well known as “Prayag” , the city of offerings where the sacred rivers; the Ganga, the Yamuna and the mythical Saraswati confluence. The city was also visited by the famous traveler Hiuen Tsang in mid of the 7th century AD. It is a showcase of varied history and culture encircling the pre- Independence era, the Mughal influence and the British Raj. Spend half a day exploring the area with architectural contrasts. The place is a Mecca for the devout Hindu who visits this pilgrimage once in a life time .
 
Day 6 (Allahabad/Chunar/Varanasi)

Our destination for the day is Varanasi, the city of Shiva along the river Ganga, the holiest of all. We pause at the famous fort of Chunar, an important one during the rule of Sultans and the British Raj. Continue your journey to Varanasi. Stroll at the Ghats and witness one of the attractions of the holy City, the evening ceremony at the Dashashwamedh Ghat.
 
Day 7 (Varanasi)

The daybreak boat trip endows with the unforgettable spectacle of the morning prayers gently moving along the bathing Ghats. Visit some interesting sites after the boat trip; including Banaras Hindu University (one of the world's most consecrated institutions of learning) the Bharat Kala Bhawan (exhibits a valuable anthology of ancient sculpture and medieval paintings  –  closed on Sundays/University holidays. Late afternoon visit one of the old sites Sarnath the birth place of Buddhism, where Lord Buddha preached his first sermon in the first quarter of 6th century BCE after attaining Enlightenment.
 
Day 8 (Varanasi/Khajuraho)

Fly to Khajuraho at midday to the hidden wonder of the world; the clustered temples of Khajuraho - A World UNESCO site. Explore the Eastern group by rickshaw. Enjoy the light and sound show in the late evening- a tale of love and romance.
 
Day 9 (Khajuraho)

The sunrise brings life to this little town, when the dawn splashes the golden rays on the bedecked temples of the Western cluster. A quality time would be required to spend to see this treasure of India where the social life is depicted in forms of different phases of human life and society. Wander on your own or unwind whilst sipping your favorite drink at the pool side of your hotel.
 
Day 10 (Khajuraho/Panna NP/Orchha)

Lets us put some excitement during the holidays to see the wildlife of Central India. A morning jeep safari to Panna National Park gives you a chance to see the Ken Ghariyal Sanctuary and other wild life. After lunch, a bit bumpy but a scenic drive to reach Orchha, a character township in Madhya Pradesh, the heart of India. An interesting walk in the town to perceive the life and colors of India will give you unlimited picture opportunities. {Closed from 1st July to 15th October every year}
 
Day 11 (Orchha/Datia/Gwalior)

We will visit the beautiful Jehangir Palace in the morning and proceed to Datia, an off the beaten place. This is an ancient Hindu pilgrimage centre where you can witness one of the finest examples of Bundela architecture, the Govind Palace. Continue your journey to Gwalior to relax for the day.
 
Day 12 (Gwalior/Agra)

A morning tour of the recently restored grand Jai Vilas Palace (closed on Mondays/holidays). Its museum displays an immeasurable and  diverse collection of royal memorabilia. Later visit the colossal Gwalior Fort continually built from ancient to late medieval times and carry on viewing the palaces and temples within region. Continue to Agra to contemplate the dream of your life “TAJMAHAL”.
 
Day 13 (Agra)

This morning we will enjoy the beauty of Taj Mahal. After breakfast, visit the art work of Pietra-Dura and then continue to the World UNESCO site  ‘The Agra fort’ . Late afternoon, an exciting mode of transport will take you to Baby Taj. Continue to Mehtab Bagh for stunning views of Taj Mahal across the river.
 
Day 14 (Agra/Fatehpur Sikri/Jaipur )

This morning we will drive to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri. A tale in red sandstone built in 1570 AD by III Mughal Emperor, Akbar the Great. A Leisure evening to get ready for the next day to explore the planned Pink-city.
 
Day 15 (Jaipur)

Enjoy visiting the beautiful City Palace and the Stone observatory in the morning. We will continue to the famed Amber fort perched on the hill range of Aravali Mountains, one of the oldest mountain in India.
 
Day 16 (Jaipur/Delhi)
Jaipur/Delhi
Your final destination is the bustling city of Delhi where a sumptuous farewell dinner awaits your presence to rewind back the unforgettable memories of the holidays.
 
Day 17 (Final Departure)
Final Departure
You will be transferred to International Airport to catch flight back home.
