The capital of the world’s largest democracy has always been presented as a ‘Kohinoor’ in the fabled wealth of monumental treasures of India. The legends portray Delhi as the kingdom of the erstwhile kings ‘Pandavas’ in the 400 BCE. The profound architecture of the ancient monuments in Delhi testifies the strong hold of the rulers of Hindu, Muslim and British empires.
